1.- Born: in San José, Costa Rica, on October the third 1926.

2.- Wife: Maria Eugenia Truque Gurdián.

3.- Sons: Anabelle, teacher; Lilianne, Medical doctor, Jorge Ernesto, Civil engineer and Ms. in Business Administration, and José Alberto Ms. in Music and Business on Administration

EDUCATION

Studied Economics Science in the University of Costa Rica.

Worked as consultant in IBM systems of electronic and punched card equipment.

He taught in several places IBM in electro mechanical system.

Studied and was specialized in Computation, Public and Private Administration, systems of computation applied to industry and government in he Unites States. He studied at American and George Washington Universities in Washington, D.C. U.S.A.

Studied in several countries of the world related to political programs for government that could be practical for Costa Rica. All those programs were incorporated to the government plan of Partido Nacional Independiente

OCCUPATIONS

1.- 1944 - 45 United Fruit Company, at Palmar Sur farm No. 6, as time keeper in agricultural.

2.- 1947 Manager of the mechanized IBM Office of National Bank for to service the Government Tax Department.

3.- 1948 Organized the Mechanized Technical Office IBM merging the National Bank with the office of the Government. The new department reported directly to the minister.

4.- 1954 New York, USA, Consultant in electro mechanical IBM systems to several firms in Wall Street, the financial capital of the world.

5.- 1955 Cofounder and President of MAI Company. This was a consulting and rental of IBM equipment. The headquarters were in New York city in USA.

6.- 1956-1971 he organized the MAI company with worldwide status, establishing the first international branch office in Costa Rica, then in Venezuela, Mexico, Canada, Philippines, Occidental Germany, Belgium and Holland. He also established forty branches in varied states in USA.

7.- 1972 In Costa Rica he was dedicated to invest and to develop various enterprises: cattle, dairy, banana plantation, petroleum derived, commerce credit protection and other. He was never involved as a money lender.

8.- Established as an honest politician for the good of Costa Rica.

POLITICAL ACTIVITY

1.- He presented his first political program in January 1970 on behave of the presidential candidate Mario Echandi for the elections of February. This program titled Fight Against Human Misery to crate thousands of small enterprises to solve the needs of poor people.

2. - October twenty first of 1971, founded the Partido Nacional Independiente. He participated in the municipal elections of the new canton of Sarapiquí Heredia, and obtained the second position, after the Partido Liberación Nacional (the oldest party). Mr. Gonzalez has been president of the National Executive Committee until to date.

3-. He participated as presidential candidate in the national elections on February 1974, and he obtained six members of the legislative assembly, a group of forty members of different municipalities.

4.- Due to an accident during a political rally on December 18, 1973 he almost dies of lung clots. They saved him with the human first use of a drug invented by Dr. Bell at John Hopkins Clinic Research Center in Baltimore USA, the Estreptokinasa. Dr. Bell himself brought it to Costa Rica, requiring a special permit given by President Nixon requested from Presidente Figueres of Costa Rica. This success was considering being a real miracle.

5.- In June of 1978 he was appointed by his friend Terrence Todman, Under Secretary of State for Latin American Affairs, to take action in Nicaragua as the first step to advance democracy in that country. This activity would have avoided the bloody Sandinista's Revolution. This action was aborted due to the Caribbean's Communist organization. This also cost Jorge Gonzalez the exile for seven years in Panama and USA.

6.- He returned to Costa Rica in 1985 about to direct the writing of the book El Mundihumanismo de Gonzalez Marten as a mean to explain to costarricans about his political participation and his long abcense.

7.- During several political elections he was active, keeping his Party alive for better opportunities.

8.- The twenty second of January of 1996, he co-founded with four persons, The Movement for the Rescue of Costa Rica's values was other exit, distributing thousands fliers in all country.

9.- On March twenty of March 1994, at the Ambassador Hotel in San José, Costa Rica, Mr. Gonzalez merges the Partido Nacional Independiente and the Movement and he was declared Presidential Candidate for the Presidential Elections of February of 1998.

TRASCENDENTAL EVENTS IN HIS LIFE

1.- Cofounder of the worldwide computer company MAI in New York, USA.

2.- He directed the creation, the intellectual and technical development of the first commercial microcomputer in the world. The MAI's Basic Four, presented to the world in June of 1971, at the Commodore Hotel in San Francisco California, USA. This was the first time the punched cards used to enter the information into the computer, were eliminated. The Basic Four was a minicomputer and became the precursor of today's microcomputer.

3.- He created the ideological philosophy of The Mundihumanismo that began unrolling in 1961 in Stockholm, Sweden. He wrote a book entitled El Mundihumanismo la Señal de los Tiempos (The Mundihumanismo the Signal of Times).

Two descriptions:

The Mundihumanismo is the exaltation of the essence of the maximum spiritual and human dimension of man directed to God and to his neighbor, searching to unroll the most hidden in depth of his ethical, moral and spiritual principles.

The Mundihumanismo represents the Spiritual and Moral Revolution of the world opposing the economic materialism that is destroying the Terraqueous Globe.
